Az ELTE Belső-ázsiai Tanszék Mongolisztikai doktori programjának szervezésében rendezik meg a "Belső-Ázsia és a Kárpát-medence népeinek viselettörténete" című workshopot 2010. május-14-én 10 és 17 óra között. A tervezett helyszín: az ELTE BTK F. épületének Kerényi terme.
A workshop célja, hogy személyes tapasztalatcserére hívja azokat a régészeket, néprajzosokat és orientalistákat, akik a Kárpát-medence népeinek viseletével, illetve ennek ázsiai kapcsolataival foglalkoznak.
A workshop nyelve magyar, de tekintettel arra, hogy külföldi kutatók is jelezték részvételüket és elküldik előadásaikat, a program angol nyelven is elkészült.
Az előadásokat ruharekonstrukciók bemutatása fogja kísérni, illetve követni. A bemutatott ruhákat Oka Ildikó kutatásai alapján Kiszely Orsolya, a népművészet ifjú mestere készítette el, a textilek egy részét Pintér Piroska festette növényi festékanyagokkal.
